The short version

OurDream sells one thing the others don’t: a single bill. Whether that is cheaper than Candy AI depends entirely on how much you generate — the coin allowance is the ceiling, and it is a low one.

What is OurDream AI?

OurDream AI is an AI companion platform built around a single promise, printed on its own landing page: “Unlimited AI Roleplay Platform”. Chat, HD image generation, short video with lip-sync and per-minute voice calls all sit inside one subscription rather than being metered as separate add-on packs, which is how most of the category works.

The domain was registered in November 2024 and the platform opened properly in early 2025, making it the youngest product in our ranking. It has grown fast: SimilarWeb puts it around global rank #545 with something in the region of 36–40 million visits a month, and it appears at #36 in a16z’s sixth Top 50 Gen AI Consumer Web Products list from March 2026 — the only app here to make that list.

Worth knowing where that growth comes from: just under 45% of all visits arrive through affiliate links. This is an affiliate-first business rather than one that grew on organic search, which is why you will find so many near-identical “reviews” of it.

Is OurDream AI free?

Yes, and unusually for this category it is a free tier you can genuinely sit on. You get five messages before you even register, then 55 DreamCoins on sign-up — roughly one character creation plus about forty messages and one image. After that the standing allowance is:

• 50 messages a day, resetting daily
• 5 image credits a day
• Partial access to mature content
• Email registration only — no phone, no ID, alias addresses accepted

What the free tier will not do is video or voice calls. Both are priced in DreamCoins at a rate above your starting balance, so in practice they are locked. Downloading images is Premium-only too: on free you can look at your gallery but not save from it.

OurDream AI pricing in 2026

Two tiers, each billed monthly or annually. The annual price is charged as a single payment up front.

The checkout presents the annual plan as “−75%” against a struck-through $39.99. That $39.99 does not appear anywhere else, in any source — the real saving against the monthly price is 50%, and it is permanent rather than a promotion. Premium’s official pricing page sits behind a login, so the Deluxe figures come from three independent reviews that agree with each other rather than from the vendor.

DreamCoins, and why the plan runs out

Premium includes 1,000 DreamCoins a month, Deluxe 5,000. Chat itself is unlimited, but generation is not: images, video and voice calls all draw on the balance, top-ups start around $11.99 per 1,000, and unused coins do not carry into the next month.

Is there an OurDream promo code?

Not in the sense the coupon sites mean. There is exactly one confirmed discount mechanism, and it is a referral code: an existing subscriber gives you a code, you enter it on your first Premium purchase, and both of you get 1,000 DreamCoins. There is no percentage-off field in the checkout at all.

Everything else you will find is noise. Coupon aggregators advertising “75% off OurDream” are reselling the ordinary annual discount that anyone gets by clicking the annual plan — a test of more than twenty codes from those sites in May 2026 produced zero working ones. A “$10 AIMOJO” code circulates on one site and could not be verified; it also contradicts the fact that the checkout has nowhere to type a code.

Is OurDream AI safe and legit?

The operator is Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation at 1111B South Governors Avenue, Dover. A second entity, TEKTOPIA LTD of Cyprus (registration HE 473775), appears in the site footer. Compliance and legal requests go to [email protected], billing and product to [email protected]. Scam-detection services rate the domain as legitimate, and there are no publicly recorded breaches or regulatory actions as of mid-2026.

The founders are not public. Company size and funding figures circulating on startup databases are auto-generated estimates with low stated confidence and are not corroborated anywhere — treat them as unknown. The App Store and Google Play builds are published under private individual developer accounts rather than the company, which is common in this category but worth knowing.

On money:

• Statements show “Dream Studio” or “DREAMSTUDIOS.CO”, not the brand name
• Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto are accepted; PayPal, SEPA and Amex are not
• Refunds are case-by-case and refused once you have consumed more than 25% of the plan’s value. Crypto payments are final in every case. EEA, UK and Swiss buyers keep the statutory 14-day withdrawal right
• Cancelling blurs your media. Images and video you generated stop being viewable until you resubscribe — several reviewers describe this as losing something they paid for

The most consistent user complaint is not billing, though, it is moderation. Filters misfire on lines that are not explicit, because the classifier reads context rather than the sentence, and the result is a conversation that stops mid-scene. The company has acknowledged the inconsistency. Trustpilot sits around 4.4–4.5, the highest of the five apps here, though the page blocks external readers so that figure comes from secondary measurement rather than direct reading.

Who OurDream AI is for

Worth it if you want video and voice without a second bill. Nothing else in this ranking includes both in the subscription, and the free tier is real enough that you can judge the product before paying — which you cannot do with Candy AI.

Skip it if you generate heavily. The 1,000-coin allowance is the actual product limit, it does not roll over, and failed generations still bill you. Past a certain volume the “all-inclusive” plan costs more than metered competitors.

Skip it too if you write anything the filter might read as edgy. This is the app where moderation complaints outnumber billing complaints, and an interrupted scene is the one thing a roleplay product cannot afford.
