CrushOn is bought for one reason — no filters — and everything else about it is friction: a demo-sized free tier, six confusing tiers, and a refund clause that says no in capital letters.
What is CrushOn AI?
CrushOn AI is a roleplay chat platform that markets itself, in its own words, as “No Filter NSFW Character AI Chat”. The entire proposition is the absence of the content restrictions that pushed people off Character AI, and it works: the product launched in September 2023 and now sees around 31.5 million visits a month by Semrush’s May 2026 measurement.
Under the hood it runs a rotating set of models rather than one. An April 2025 press release named them directly — free users get Fast 3.7 Sonnet, GPT-4, Claude Haiku and Grok-3 variants, subscribers get Claude 3.7 Sonnet and enhanced versions of the rest. Reviews add several more. The current line-up is not officially documented, which is a recurring theme with this product.

Is CrushOn AI free?
There is a free tier, but read the unit carefully: it is 100 message credits per month, not per day. Spread evenly that is about three messages a day, which makes it a demonstration rather than a usable plan.
Officially the free tier gives you:
- 100 message credits a month, 8K memory
- 200 messages of chat history, one conversation at a time
- One custom voice slot, free models only, no group chat
- Adult content, in limited form
You will find other numbers in older reviews — “50 a day”, “100 a day”, “1,500 a month”. Those are real but historical: in April 2025 the company announced unlimited access on several free models as a promotion, and reviews from that window describe the promotional configuration. The current official figure is 100 credits a month.
There is a way around it. Coins can be earned rather than bought — a daily check-in yields roughly 50, creating your first character another 50, and referrals pay both sides. Coins convert to bonus messages one for one, so an engaged free user gets more out of the gamification than out of the plan itself.
CrushOn AI pricing in 2026
Six live tiers plus one retired, and the pricing page is built to be read one way: the number next to each plan is the effective monthly cost if you pay for a year, not the monthly price. The monthly price has to be reconstructed from the struck-through figure beside it, which is exactly twelve times the real monthly rate.

The three upper monthly prices match independent reviews exactly, so treat them as confirmed. Standard and Premium are the calculated ones: the site’s own arithmetic gives $6.66 and $14.91, while reviews say $5.99 and $14.99. An 11% gap on the entry tier suggests either that the reviews quote an old or promotional price, or that the struck-through figure is a marketing anchor rather than a real rate.
Credits, coins, and the package that replaces both
Message credits come with the plan and do not roll over — an annual subscription still meters you monthly. Coins are the second currency, convertible to bonus messages one for one, sold in packs of 100 to 3,000, and the dollar price of those packs is published nowhere: not on the pricing page, not in the FAQ, not in any review we could verify. It is visible only after you log in.
The real unlimited plan is an add-on. A “Pro Models Chat Package” gives unlimited chat without spending credits, and an Ultimate Bundle combines it with an annual plan. Neither has a published price. Since the Deluxe tier was retired, this add-on is effectively the company’s unlimited offering — and it is invisible until you are already a customer.
Is there a CrushOn AI app?
Not from an official store, as of mid-2026. The Android build was removed from Google Play, by one account in June 2026, and there has never been a listing on iOS. What remains are two routes: sideloading on Android, or adding the site to your home screen as a web app, which works on both platforms.
This is not unusual for the segment — store policies on adult content push these products to the browser — but it has a practical consequence worth knowing before you subscribe. If you bought through a mobile build while one existed, your cancellation path runs through the store rather than the website, and getting that wrong is one of the most common reasons people report being charged after cancelling.
Is CrushOn AI safe and legit?
It is a real service with real traffic, but the corporate picture is unusually scattered. The terms name TECHIEPIE LTD, registered in Nicosia, Cyprus, list a US phone number with a Delaware area code, and give a DMCA agent address in Bellevue, Washington — three jurisdictions in one document. Governing law is Hong Kong. A 2025 press release refers to “CrushOn AI Corp”, and press coverage links the product to Peekaboo Tech Inc. of Delaware and San Francisco. There is no single company behind the brand in any clean sense.
On money, three things deserve attention before you enter a card:
- The terms refuse refunds outright — “We will not issue refunds of usage fees” — and also require you not to initiate a chargeback except in cases of fraud
- Class actions are waived. Combined with Hong Kong governing law, that makes disputing a charge through the courts uneconomic for a US or EU customer
- Billing is spread across several providers — the terms name Basis Theory, the FAQ adds Paymentwall and SubscribeStar — so where you cancel depends on where you bought, and users frequently do not know which applies
Cards and PayPal are accepted; crypto is not. No discreet billing descriptor is claimed. There is no downgrade path between tiers — to move to a cheaper plan you cancel and re-subscribe. Trustpilot sits at 2.1–2.2 out of 5 across a small number of reviews, thirteen of fourteen of them one star.
Who CrushOn AI is for
Worth it if filters are what drove you here and memory depth matters. 24K context on the upper tiers is the largest in this ranking, and manual pinning to anchor facts is a genuinely useful control that competitors do not offer.
Skip it if you want to try before you buy. 100 credits a month is three messages a day; SpicyChat gives you a hundred a day for the same nothing, and is also filter-free.
Skip it too if the refund terms bother you, and they should. No refunds, no class actions, Hong Kong law and a billing path split across several providers is the least forgiving combination among the apps here.
