The short version
- Chat, images, audio and video in one product at a lower entry price than most
- Seven distinct render styles, from photoreal to anime to toon, with pose and lighting control
- Annual plan lands under $7 a month, cheap for a platform that includes video
- No public feeds or recommendation algorithm — nothing you do is visible to others
- Billing descriptor is discreet, and the token pool is spelled out action by action
- Every message costs a token, so the plan is 100 messages before you top up
- One 10-second Ultra video costs 70 of your 100 monthly tokens
- Tokens do not roll over, and the refund policy has no exceptions at all
- English only, on a product taking traffic from more than 200 countries
- Traffic is falling on two independent measurements — roughly halved in a month
Infatuated is the cheapest way into a product that does images and video, and the quickest to become expensive. Work out your monthly token spend before subscribing, because the plan alone will not cover a week of generating.
What is Infatuated AI?
Infatuated AI is a web-only AI companion platform covering chat, image generation, short video and voice messages, with a second product line aimed at brands wanting virtual influencers. Its own positioning line is “AI Girlfriend Chat with Images, Video & Voice”, and it supports male characters on the same terms as female ones.
It is the youngest and by far the smallest product in our ranking. The domain was registered in June 2024, the platform pushed properly in 2025, and traffic sits around 106,000 to 127,000 visits a month — against 21 million for Candy AI and 74 million for SpicyChat. Two independent measurements both show it falling: Semrush recorded a 52% month-on-month drop in June 2026, Similarweb a further 10% in July.
Content policy is permissive for adult fiction but explicitly forbids real people and public figures, which is a meaningful line and one not every product in this space draws.
Is Infatuated AI free?
There is a free plan, called Basic, and it is the narrowest of the five apps here. Registration costs nothing and needs no card, and you get:
- 10 messages per chat — not per day, per conversation
- One teaser image
- Browsing the full character library
Everything else sits behind the paywall: unlimited chat, images requested in conversation, video, audio, creating your own character, and extended customisation. Ten messages is enough to judge the writing style and nothing else.
Infatuated AI pricing in 2026
One plan, three commitment lengths, and the longer you commit the more tokens you get each month — which is unusual, since most competitors vary only the price.
| Billing cycle | Charged | Per month | Tokens / month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $9.99 | $9.99 | 100 |
| 3 months | $23.97 up front | $7.99 | 150 |
| 12 months | $83.88 up front | $6.99 | 175 |
Older reviews quote a different ladder — $11.99, $26.97 and $71.88. That pricing is out of date; the figures above come from the live plans page as of August 2026.
Tokens do not roll over. Whatever you do not spend in a month is gone, which makes the larger monthly allowance on the annual plan less valuable than it looks if your usage is uneven.
What 100 tokens actually buy
This is the number that decides whether Infatuated is cheap or expensive, because unlike most rivals even text messages cost tokens here.
| Action | Tokens | Share of a monthly plan |
|---|---|---|
| Send a message | 1 | 1% |
| Image in chat | 3 | 3% |
| Voice message | 5 | 5% |
| One Click Video | 10 | 10% |
| Image to Video, 5 sec | 20 | 20% |
| Talking Video | 25 | 25% |
| Create a character | 25 | 25% |
| Ultra Video, 10 sec | 70 | 70% |
So a monthly plan is either 100 messages, or 33 in-chat images, or 20 voice notes, or one good video with change. Top-up bundles run $10.50 for 150 tokens, $11.90 for 200 and $26.25 for 500 — between 5.3 and 7 cents a token. The subscription is the entry fee, not the price.
One discrepancy worth flagging: the plans page says a message costs one token, while the terms and conditions state that each standard text message consumes two. The terms are most likely stale after a pricing change, but if your first month drains twice as fast as expected, that is why.
Is Infatuated AI safe and legit?
The operator is named in the terms: Cogito Sum LLC, at 8 The Green #22255, Dover, Delaware. That address is a well-known mass registered-agent address hosting hundreds of LLCs, so it is a Delaware shell rather than an office, and no company record for Cogito Sum LLC could be found in public registries — the beneficial owners are not disclosed. Governing law is Puerto Rico, with disputes going to AAA arbitration in San Juan.
Two executives appear in May 2025 press releases, a Chief Product Officer and a CFO, and neither name verifies anywhere outside those releases. There is no published privacy policy at all — both the usual URLs return 404 — despite marketing claims about GDPR, CCPA and encryption.
On money:
- Cards only. Crypto and PayPal are not mentioned in the terms, refund policy or FAQ, and there is no payment processor named anywhere
- The statement descriptor is discreet, showing the platform or parent name rather than anything descriptive
- The refund policy is absolute: “All sales are final”, with no exception for unused token bundles, and the terms specify that even AI hallucinations are not grounds for a refund
- The one compensation mechanism is automatic: if an image or video fails to generate, the tokens come back
The affiliate programme is worth noting if you are wondering why so many sites recommend it: up to 40% recurring on both subscriptions and token purchases, with a 60-day cookie, run in-house.
Who Infatuated AI is for
Worth it if you want images and video and are price-sensitive at the entry point. Under $7 a month on the annual plan is genuinely cheap for a platform that generates video, and the seven render styles give more visual variety than most.
Skip it if you chat a lot. Every message costs a token, so 100 tokens is 100 messages — a fortnight at most — and after that you are buying bundles at around six cents each. SpicyChat gives unlimited text for $5.00.
Skip it too if you want the app to still be there next year. Traffic has fallen on two independent measurements, the ownership is undisclosed, there is no published privacy policy, and the refund policy has no exceptions. That combination is the least reassuring here.

One month is $9.99, three months is $23.97 charged once ($7.99 a month) and twelve months is $83.88 charged once ($6.99 a month). Longer commitments also raise the monthly token allowance, from 100 to 150 to 175. Older reviews quoting $11.99, $26.97 and $71.88 are out of date.

A message costs 1 token, an image in chat 3, a voice message 5, a One Click Video 10, a 5-second image-to-video 20, a talking video or a new character 25, and a 10-second Ultra Video 70. So the 100 tokens in a monthly plan are 100 messages, or 33 images, or roughly one high-quality video. Top-ups run from $10.50 for 150 tokens to $26.25 for 500, and unused tokens do not carry into the next month.

No. The refund policy states that all sales are final, with no exception for unused token bundles, and the terms specify that AI output falling short of expectations is not grounds for a refund. The only automatic compensation is token restoration when an image or video fails to generate. Governing law is Puerto Rico and disputes go to arbitration in San Juan.

No, only asynchronous ones. The character can send you audio messages and the platform generates short video clips of five to ten seconds, but there is no real-time voice or video call. If live calling is what you want, OurDream and Candy AI both have it.
